Day One - Inishturk

  • Depart Roonagh Pier

    It all begins here at Roonagh Pier just west of Louisburgh with a 50 minute journey to Inishturk with O’Grady’s.

  • Tea and scones

    On arrival to the island and with your feet back on terra firma enjoy good coffee and home baking with Pauline at the Tea Rooms.

  • Fishing Experience

    Meet Jack Heanue and try your hand at some fishing. If the weather is poor, he’ll bring the experience indoors.

  • Sea swim at Tránaun Beach

    Quick dip before lunch in the pristine waters of this stunning secluded beach. Towels provided.

  • Crab Claw Demonstration

    Meet Brid who will provide a hands-on demonstration in how to prepare locally caught crab claws.

  • Seafood lunch in the Community Club

    Kick back and enjoy the freshest seafood you’ll ever have while overlooking Caher Island.

  • Check-in to Inishturk Cottages

    Down time. Relax and unwind in your accommodations where rustic charm meets modern comfort. Prosecco and fruit provided.

  • Portdoon

    Before you take on the island loop be sure to check out Portdoon opposite your accommodation. Incredible!

  • The Inishturk Loop

    This 5km loop on deserted country roads might just be Ireland’s best kept secret.

Day Two - Clare Island

  • Depart Inishturk

    After a continental breakfast depart Inishturk and chart a course for Clare Island, following in the wake of the fearless Pirate Queen.

  • Coffee and sweet treat at Clare Island Oven

    Treat yourself at Clare Island Oven: home of Ireland’s finest cinnamon scrolls, irresistible pastries, and perfectly brewed coffee.

  • Grace O'Malley's Castle

    Experience exclusive private access to Grace O’Malley’s legendary castle and wander through the Pirate Queen’s domain perched over the Atlantic harbour.

  • E-bikes to Ballytoughey Loom

    Grab your awesome e bike from Shoreline Pursuits and set off on a scenic ride to Beth Moran, the island’s celebrated handweaver.

  • Clare Island Lighthouse

Day Three - Keep Discovering

  • Time to say goodbye

    After two unforgettable days and nights its time for home with O’Malley Ferries but no rush, choose a sailing at 10am or 1pm.

  • Westport Town

    Your time with us may be over for now but stick around and enjoy some of Clew Bay’s other incredible experiences like a night in Westport.

  • Great Western Greenway

    Ireland’s first and best greenway stretches all the way from Westport to Achill Island and visits Newport and Mulranny along the way.

  • Croagh Patrick

    If you haven’t climbed Croagh Patrick then you’re missing out on the best view of Clew Bay and its myriad of islands.
